While we have not posted for a while (sorry) we have been selling Baja real Estate in Puerto Nuevo - but that is another story.
When we visit Ensenada we have three favorites: Ophelia's at KM 103 (just past the first stop light in El Sauzal). We enjoy it and their wine list whenever we can.
Sano's which is about 3-4 miles closer to town is another, fancy and pricier place with great beef and a full menu.
And last, but not least - There is Las Rosas, a great hotel and a great place for flaming Mexican coffee as an after - dinner drink.

Casa Natalie is a fantastic hotel & restaurant that we recomend to all of our friends & baja neighbors. You would never guess it from the outside, but once inside the gates you understand why it is a favorite of for the upscale locals and also for Hollywood's famous couple Actress Sandra Bullock & Jesse James from West Coast Choppers and the reality TV show Monster Garage on the Discovery Channel. In 2008, Jesse James will have a new show called Metal Church on Spike TV. My husband & I saw all of the West Coast Chopper Trucks at Casa Natalie and while we had dinner the chef confirmed that Sandra Bullock, Jesse James and their friends were all staying their while in town for the Baja 500 events. We look forward to visiting this restaurant for the fabulous food for many years to come. Plus, who knows which Hollywood stars you might run into in Ensenada, Mexico at Casa Natalie!
